Why do you need a Notary?

A Notary Public is an official of integrity appointed by state government typically by the secretary of state,  to serve the public as an impartial witness in performing a variety of official fraud-deterrent acts related to the signing of important documents. These official acts are called notarization, or notarial acts. 

What is  Loan Signing Agent?

A Notary Signing Agent or NSA is a Notary who has special training to handle loan document signings. Title companies and signing services hire NSA's to deliver loan documents to borrowers, oversee the signing and return the documents in a multuide of ways .

What is needed for a Notarization?

The notary acts as a witness to the signing of forms by ensuring that 

1) The signer is the person named in the paperwork 

2) The individual isn't being made to sign anything against their will as much as possible. 

3) The signer should be prepared to prove who they are by showing Identification. Such as an active (non-expired) government-issued picture I.D. such as a driver's license, passport or military I.D.
